Why K-style

A classic profile, engineered for the water it carries.

The K-style gutter gets its name from its side profile: a flat back that sits tight to the fascia and a decorative ogee face that echoes traditional crown molding. It's the most widely installed residential gutter in America for good reason. The shape holds noticeably more water than a half-round gutter of the same width and stays rigid along long runs.

At Quality Gutters USA we form every K-style run from a continuous aluminum coil right in your driveway. Each run is cut to the exact length of your roofline, so there are no seams along the way to separate, drip or rust. The only joints are at the corners, where we miter, rivet and seal every one by hand.

The Quality standard

Professionalism you can see in every detail.

Six things every Quality Gutters USA installation includes, at no extra charge.

Seamless, custom-length runs

Formed on site to your exact measurements. No off-the-shelf sections, no mid-run seams.

Hidden hangers

Concealed hangers screwed into the rafter tails, not spikes. They're spaced close enough to handle heavy rain and ice loads.

Precision pitch

Each run is laser-set to slope toward its downspout so water never sits and stagnates.

Downspouts sized to the gutter

Standard 3" x 2" downspouts and elbows with 5" gutters, and 4" x 3" with 6" gutters, placed for the roof area each one drains so water moves away from the foundation.

Sealed miters & end caps

Hand-mitered corners, riveted and sealed with professional-grade gutter sealant.

Water-tested

Every run is flushed before we leave, and old gutters are hauled away.

Fascia build-out

A gutter is only as good as the board behind it.

Before we hang a single foot of gutter, our crew inspects the fascia and the wood behind it. If we find rot, gaps or missing boards, we'll show you exactly what we found before any extra work begins.

Build-out pricing is simple: if fascia or other wood improvements are required, it's an added $9 per linear foot, only where it's needed and only with your approval.

Questions

Quality Gutters FAQ

How can you estimate my home without visiting?

We measure your roofline from high-resolution aerial imagery: eave lengths, corners, stories and downspout drops. Your online estimate is itemized from those measurements, and your crew re-verifies everything on install day.

Should I get 5" or 6" gutters?

5" gutters with 3" x 2" downspouts are our standard and fit most homes. For larger homes, we offer 6" gutters with 4" x 3" downspouts, which carry more water. Your online estimate shows both prices, and recommends 6" for homes with more than 175 ft of gutter.

Do you remove my old gutters?

Yes, and it's FREE w/installation. If you have old gutters, choose "Yes, remove & haul away" on your estimate. We take them down and haul them away at no charge when we install your new gutters.

What if my fascia is damaged?

If fascia or other wood improvements are required, build-out is $9 per linear foot. We show you the damage and get your OK before doing any build-out work.

Can I add leaf guards later?

Yes, but it's most cost-effective to add them during install. Just choose "Gutters + Leaf Guards" when you get your estimate. Leaf Guards can also go on existing gutters later.
